The Association of African American Vintners turns 25 in 2027, and we are celebrating with the AAAV 25th Anniversary Gala in 2027. Date, venue, and event details are coming soon.
Since 2002, AAAV has worked to make wine inclusive: awarding more than 100 scholarships for wine certifications and university degrees, funding emerging Black wine entrepreneurs, and building career pathways across the industry. The gala honors the members, partners, and supporters who made those 25 years possible.
What to expect
The day brings AAAV members together at a winery estate to pour their wines, with a special guest host and an auction. It is followed by a separately ticketed private dinner with the AAAV board, featuring wines from board members’ own labels.
Supporting the next 25 years
Proceeds from the gala support the launch of AAAV’s new 501(c)(3) foundation, which will operate alongside our existing association to expand scholarships, grants, and education for the next generation of Black vintners and wine professionals.
